A causa del estallido social iniciado el 18 de Octubre del año 2019, y combinado con un largo proceso político, social y cultural que ayudó a determinar las directrices para el futuro de Chile, se han generado múltiples cambios, revoluciones, proyectos, movimientos y nuevas ideas simultáneas que, entre otras cosas, destacaron por impulsar la escritura y el desarrollo de una nueva Constitución para el pueblo de Chile que tendría por objetivo establecer la defensa por los derechos humanos, la preservación y defensa de la naturaleza, los animales, pueblos originarios, flora y fauna, justicia contra los delitos cometidos por las élites más altas y poderosas de la sociedad chilena, sueldos dignos para los trabajadores y ayudas para personas de escasos recursos o con condiciones especiales que les impidan trabajar cómoda y apropiadamente.
Con este motivo en mente, desde la página web Era de la Información diversas agrupaciones y comunidades de filosofos, artistas, ingenieros, programadores, profesores, escritores, defensores de derechos humanos y activistas por las libertades digitales están invitando, llamando y convocando públicamente a la ciudadanía a votar por un conjunto de iniciativas populares de norma para proponerse a evaluación en la Convención Constituyente que en estos momentos se encuentra redactando la futura carta magna que regirá a partir del presente año en adelante.
Las mencionadas normativas pretenden garantizar el derecho a la privacidad, al conocimiento, la soberanía digital y uso de software libre tanto en el gobierno como en las dependencias del estado, difundiendo así la filosofía de la cultura libre en todo el país que establezca un respeto por la vida íntima, un manejo controlado y limitado de nuestros datos personales, un acceso soberano a los sistemas informáticos y digitales independizándose de las plataformas privativas y el derecho de acceder, estudiar, modificar, distribuír y compartir todo tipo de materiales, recursos, herramientas y obras intelectuales a fin de promover el conocimiento, la ciencia y la educación. A continuación detallamos las susodichas normativas en disputa acompañadas de una breve descripción y sus enlaces directos para leerse y votarse.

Cuenta Votos Propuesta Constituyente
Además de todo esto, como una forma de ayuda para monitorizar el estado las iniciativas populares de norma, un voluntario ha desarrollado un software en el lenguaje de programación Python que permite seguir y controlar el número de votos recibidos en cada propuesta directamente desde nuestra computadora para así conocer el avance de cada iniciativa o propuesta realizada de una forma cómoda, rápida y expedita.
El mencionado software llamado «Cuenta Votos Propuesta Constituyente»puede encontrarse en su repositorio GIT junto con las correspondientes instrucciones de instalación y manejo de la herramienta.
